The anatomy

Neuron positions and annotations come from the FlyWire v783 adult fruit fly connectome. The interactive atlas displays these cells at their measured positions.

The experiment

A spiking neural model carries signals through 2,700,513 retained connections. Select a sensory input and explore the resulting neural activity.

The interpretation

The body visualises neural responses through a movement decoder. This is a computational experiment, not a living animal or a model trained to solve arbitrary tasks.
